The Osage Nation Historic Preservation Office (ONHPO) is set to continue their popular Osage Book Club. The September meeting will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Noon (CDT) via Zoom discussing the foreword through Chapter 4 of "Picture Cave: Unraveling the Mysteries of the Mississippian Cosmos."

ONHPO hosts a monthly Osage Book Club meeting to review and discuss literature covering Osage history or historical accounts. The Osage Book Club meets once a month (unless the Nation is closed for a national holiday). Book selections are shared ahead of the meeting so that participants can read, review, and then discuss the selection in a group setting. Readers are allowed and encouraged to purchase or check out the book for their reference.
The book club is open to the Osage Nation employees and general public. Due to ongoing public health concerns, the meetings will be held via zoom until further notice.
