The annual Wahzhazhe Cultural Encampment is an overnight outdoor camping experience for enrolled Osage Members, traditionally held in the Fall. In 2020 it was expected to be held in the Spring, but like many other events, was canceled out of concern for our Osage Member's health. We hope to return in 2021, so watch this space!

The encampment is a fun, family-friendly event, where we aim to provide insight and knowledge to our Wahzhazhe people, and encourage historic learning and cultural activities. You will experience our history and culture through modern eyes, on a very basic level. You will be able to attend a variety of cultural presentations and workshops.

Held outdoors at the Osage Nation Ranch, attendees will need to bring their own camping gear, including a tent, sleeping bags, and clothing appropriate to staying outdoors in Oklahoma. All meals are prepared on site.

Registration is required to attend the Cultural Encampment. Applications will be available from this page when registration opens. Keep an eye on our social media for the announcement later in the year!
