The following list of references are resources that the Osage Nation Historic Preservation Office recommends for beginning research into Osage history and culture. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, nor does the Historic Preservation Office endorse every detail of each publication, these are recognized as helpful sources for a deeper understanding of the Osage past.
