Visitors Center
Welcome, Visitors!
The Osage Nation Visitor’s Center is making way for a massive renovation and expansion on its current structure. The Visitor’s Center will temporarily relocate to the Cultural Center, located at 220 W. Main in Pawhuska, as a “Pop-Up Shop” to continue selling items, although at limited quantities due to storage space.
The Visitor’s Center will be completely closed March 6, 2023 through March 26, 2023 with the temporary Pop-Up Shop to open on March 27, 2023. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m, and Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Customers can enter through the north (street) entrance to purchase items such as Sesquicentennial coins, Osage Foundation ornaments, Veterans Memorial t-shirts, Osage Nation Language Department books, and Osage vendors. Staff will have information to purchase directly from Osage vendors, if items are not available. The iPad bar will be temporarily unavailable, however the Wahzhazhe Hologram Project will be on view.
Due to ongoing cultural and language classes, the building side entrances will only be available to Osage Nation staff members and tribal members with cultural instruction appointments or classes. Kaleidoscope, the popular Visitor’s Center bison, will be in storage for safekeeping throughout construction. Detailed information about the renovation and expansion is forthcoming. For questions, please call the Visitor’s Center at (918) 287-0005.
