Grow, Gather, Hunt

Come out and learn about the wild, edible and medicinal plants that grow around us on a nature walk. The Gather portion of the program will teach participants how to identify edible and medicinal plants that grow wild, how and when to gather and sample some delicious, nutritious wild plants/ Participants will learn plant identification and the primary use and nutritional value of the identified plant. Participants will also learn how to make a topical antibacterial salve using gathered natural plants and make and take a natural mosquito repellent.
