Cultural
Traditional Corn

Food security and a reliable food supply chain are important to the ability to be able to feed ourselves. Osages use corn in a variety of ways including dried corn and hominy.

About the series: The Wahzhazhe Cultural Center and Osage Nation Language Department have collaboratively created a series of videos dedicated to sharing, preserving and celebrating the values, teachings and tribal ways of the Wahzhazhe people. Videos will be released weekly across Osage Nation communication platforms and osageculture.com, a website dedicated to Osage cultural education. Special thanks to the Osage language and culture team for making this series possible.
